QSO One — One App, Many Networks
What is QSO One?
QSO One is a free internet voice client for licensed amateur radio operators, developed by Francesco “Frank” Catena, KD8JKK.
Instead of juggling a different program for every network, QSO One brings them together in one app:
- AllStarLink
- EchoLink
- IAX Direct
- DMR — BrandMeister and TGIF
- Yaesu System Fusion (YSF)
- M17
It also includes a searchable talkgroup catalog, live last-heard view, Net Finder, QSO logging with ADIF export, callsign lookup, and received-audio recording.
What you don’t need — and what you do need
You don’t need a hotspot, a dedicated Raspberry Pi, or a digital handheld just to connect through QSO One’s software.
You do need a valid amateur license and callsign, a free QSO One account created with your callsign at qso1.net, and any account or ID your chosen network requires — for DMR, that means a DMR ID and your network credentials.
QSO One connects over the internet. It does not turn a computer into an RF DMR transmitter.
It’s available for Windows and Android — check qso1.net for current downloads and other platforms.

Support QSO One
QSO One is free to use, and the developer accepts optional donations.
If QSO One helps you get on the air, stay connected while traveling, or try a new network for the first time, please consider donating to support Frank and the project. Check qso1.net for the current donation option — donations help support its continued development.
Thank you for keeping the hobby welcoming, and for helping keep independent amateur radio software going.
You’re welcome on TG 31459.
